Key Responsibilities:

  • Legal Research: Conducting legal research on relevant case law, statutes, and regulations to support ongoing cases and projects.
  • Drafting: Assisting senior lawyers in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, opinions, and correspondence.
  • Courtroom Experience: Attending court proceedings, hearings, and client meetings to observe and learn courtroom etiquette and advocacy skills.
  • Client Interaction: Interacting with clients, both in person and via communication channels, to gather information, provide updates, and assist in case management.
  • Case Management: Assisting in case management tasks such as file organization, document review, and maintaining case records.
  • Administrative Support: Providing administrative support to legal teams, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and preparing meeting materials.
  • Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from a recognized institution.
  • Proof of admission and study in the Advocate Training Program at the Kenya School of Law
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
